Clear Marketing was founded in 2004 to inject new energy and new thinking into the world of hotel and destination representation . Debbie Cleary set about creating a team of creative, energetic, passionate and results focused individuals, each with an outstanding background in travel and tourism.


I have been with Clear Marketing for just over 6 years now and I have had the opportunity to travel to Europe, the Middle East and the Caribbean either for work or on my own holidays. My favourite place to visit has to be Canada or Mexico and I am hoping to finally get to visit New York next year for a big birthday! I was lucky enough to spend some time at Viceroy Riviera Maya during my last stay in Mexico with my partner which was amazing and I would go back in a heartbeat. Travelling has become harder (but not impossible) since getting our two dogs Luna and Jessie as very few people want to commit to walking two sassy German Shepard x Siberian Husky’s for 2 hours a day while we go off on our holidays… can’t imagine why! After a long 18 months of COVID-19 bringing everyday life to a halt I am looking forward to lots of exciting things to come in 2022 and getting back to St Lucia and Australia at some point as we had planned last year.



Responsible for the account management, sales and marketing for our luxury hotel clients and taking care of our social media channels, I started at Clear Marketing in 2013. With 15-years travel industry experience I joined the industry after graduating with a BA (Hons) Journalism degree. My previous roles were at a luxury cruise line and a Tour Operator. Having had several holidays to the Caribbean, I developed as passion that made me want to work with the region. I have been to Barbados more times than I can count! (I got married there in 2014 and convinced my sister to do the same five years later) and can tick off having visited nine Caribbean countries. One of my favourite memories was taking my eldest son on his first Caribbean holiday- to Tobago. I am working Mum to two boys so it’s just as well that I am highly organised and like to be busy!



The long and short of it… I am obsessed with skiing and spending time in the mountains in any context. Closer to home, I am a keen club runner and I love nothing more than to hit the trails and eat up the mileage with both fellow trail runner friends and/or simply a pair of headphones. My spirit of adventure and thirst for a challenge has led me to complete marathons both on and off road as well as Olympic distance triathlons and road racing bike events, and in 2020 I decided to train as a PT due to my love of all thing’s health and fitness. Travel is a natural gravitation and I thrive in seeking out and exploring new destinations. My favourite places in the world where I’ve spent quality time include Chamonix in France and Lake Tahoe in California. These two diverse mountain communities offer a palpable vibe where everyone is equally as passionate about life in the mountains – it’s adrenaline fuelled, action packed and incredibly beautiful. Destinations that are atop of my bucket list include Japan for the skiing and culture and travelling through and experiencing as much as South America as possible.



I have always had the travel bug. From the age of 16 spending a summer in San Sebastian living with a local family, to studying and working in Mexico City as part of my degree and then living and working in Japan for 2 years. I was lucky enough to start my work life at British Airways Holidays, contracting some of the most beautiful parts of the world. From Patagonia and the Galapagos Islands to the Caribbean and Australia. I had some of the best mentors along the way, learning that partnership and collaboration is what drives sales, not the cheapest deal.
I set up Clear Marketing in Jan 2004, encouraged by one of my closest Caribbean hoteliers (who is still part of our portfolio today). He said then that I should take my love and passion of selling travel dreams and make it my job – and that is what I did!
